We Are NMC: A Global Collaboration for Media Minds
Welcome to L'koin Space – your corner (coin in French) online space built by media students from across the globe. Wherever you are in the world we’re here to create a community where media studies students from all corners of the world can connect, collaborate, and share resources.
It all began with a spark of inspiration between two students – one from the University of Moulay Ismail (UMI) in Morocco and the other from Fordham University in the United States. Together, they realized something: while the world of media is vast, the resources, ideas, and opportunities available to students often feel limited by borders. So, why not break those boundaries and create a space where ideas flow freely across time zones and countries? Thus, L'koin Space was born.
Who Are We?
We are a group of enthusiastic students passionate about new media studies, mass communication, and everything in between. We come from different academic backgrounds and universities, but our goal is the same – to make the field of media studies more accessible, fun, and engaging for everyone. We want this site to be a meeting point for students around the world, where discussions about media theories, semiotics, and modern communication practices can thrive.
